About the Peninsula Non-Profit Partnership
The Peninsula Nonprofit Partnership was formed through a shared commitment to strengthen and support the nonprofit community across the Virginia Peninsula. Following the sunset of Network Peninsula after nearly two decades of service, four regional organizations — the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, Bernardine Franciscan Sisters Foundation, United Way of the Virginia Peninsula, and Peninsula Community Foundation — came together to ensure nonprofits would continue to have access to the resources, connections, advocacy, and collaboration opportunities they need to thrive. By combining their strengths and coordinating services, the Partnership was created to provide a unified, community-wide support system for nonprofit organizations serving the Peninsula.
Today, the Peninsula Nonprofit Partnership offers a broad range of support services, including networking gatherings for nonprofit leaders, advocacy initiatives, workshops and board development opportunities, communications resources, meeting space access, and connections to in-kind business support. The Partnership also maintains a comprehensive nonprofit database to help organizations, funders, and community partners connect more effectively and collaborate across the region. While the Partnership continues to evolve and grow, its mission remains clear: to work together in service of a stronger, more connected nonprofit community across the Virginia Peninsula.
