Military Recognition Breakfast

On Thursday, September 7, 2023 we held our inaugural Military Recognition Breakfast. This annual event recognizes active-duty service members from each service who excel both in their primary military duties, and as volunteers in the Peninsula community. The Peninsula Chamber, and its Military Affairs Council, is very proud of its close relationship with our military partners on the Peninsula. Five military installations and five branches call the Peninsula home and their combined 23,000 active-duty members and DOD civilians, and over 24,000 family members, make up a significant part of our communities. We owe them a debt of gratitude for their service and personal sacrifices in the defense of our great nation and welcome them as our friends and neighbors. This annual event is intended to offer a small measure of that respect and gratitude. A special thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Dominion Energy and our Keynote Speaker, Commander, Air Combat Command, General Mark D. Kelly (Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia).
